I

The blood in my veins rushes to its maximum speed, correlating with the beats per minute of my heart, sending signals to my brain that I am highly excited at this moment.

Wait, isn’t the above sentence wrong?

Is it ‘I’ who is excited or is it my body? Continue reading

Celebrating Life

Life is unpredictable.

Such vast is its expanse of unpredictability that all the well planned events are tossed into a whirlpool of uncertainty and sent through a constant turmoil.

You wake up one morning in a happy mood. You ponder upon your life and the way it has shaped so far and you expect it to go on the same course for the rest of the years you have. Right there, in that moment, lies the catch. You expect it to follow the same course, you don’t know whether it would or not! Continue reading

Bigger Question

In continuation with Big Question

The big question is not “Why are you here?” The big question is “Are you aware of where you are?” And yet, there are always bigger questions, just like there is always a new mystery to solve, a new milestone to achieve, a new record to break. But isn’t there a limit to everything? How far can you go? How high can you jump? How fast can you run? Continue reading

Being : ‘Curious’

How do you define curiosity? Is it a positive aspect or a negative aspect of someone’s character?

I have answered many questions in my life but they were not all the questions that were asked. There were many questions that had no connection with the heart, questions that were merely of the head and the head is already filled up with so much of garbage. I’m sorry I don’t want to be unkind, I am just trying to unburden the mind. We need to choose the questions that help our mind to unburden itself.

There are questions which are concerned with our surroundings, conditionings, beliefs. I am against all beliefs as such. I don’t support any belief for the simple reason that it is a belief. I don’t want to believe, I want to know and the first condition to know is that I shall drop all my beliefs. Continue reading

Being

A question haunts me ever since I developed enough brain cells to think on my own and neglect the advice of those around me. The question is ‘What do I have to be?’

While in school, I wanted to be an engineer. Once I passed school, I wanted to be a musician, wrote songs, sung them among friends who liked them too. Few years later, I wanted to be an accountant because earning money was the top priority in my life, then I wanted to be a businessman because I figured out that a salaried person cannot become financially free but money was the main topic of concern even then. Angels On Earth

He will give his angels charge of you

to guard you in all your ways.

On their hands they will bear you up,

lest you dash your foot against a stone.

(The Holy Bible, Psalms 91: 11-12)

One day when I was a kid, I broke a tooth off and cried aloud. My grandma told me to keep that broken tooth beneath my pillow while sleeping and said that an angel will come down from the firmament to turn the broken tooth into a chocolate by using her magic wand.

While going to bed that night, I asked my parents, ”Do angels really exist?”

Without a pause, my mom said yes and my dad said no. Both of them stared at each other immediately after answering and I got my answer. Continue reading
