Wonder

I wonder what motivates people.

Is it the unknown feeling of accomplishment? Or may be the urge to know the unknown? What is unknown? Everything that we do not know, and it is so much. One lifetime is too less to know everything there is. People don’t even roam around the entire world and yet there have been quite a few who have roamed the moon. It is impossible for anyone to forget their first kiss, no matter how bad it was. Equally impossible is to forget the first touch of the opposite sex, the first hug, the first shared meal they had, the first movie they saw together, the first time they tried to have sex, the first time they actually had sex. Have you ever thought about the concept of inheritance?

In a world where no one guarantees about the events of the next day, people love to inherit. A father’s property, a mother’s favour, a brother’s approval, a sister’s concern, people are eager to inherit all sorts of things and people are not ashamed to ask for it. An inheritance has to be a two-way process. There has to be a giver and there has to be a receiver. One cannot give without a receiver and one cannot receive without a giver.
