Reboot

This has to be the longest duration of time I have been absent from the blog. It is not that I didn’t want to write, but when do we ever get what we want? I just couldn’t or perhaps I should write, I just didn’t. When the number of people around you grows, you start thinking about them rather than thinking about yourself. Parties, night outs, traveling, discussions, misunderstandings and judgments take the front seat and send personal growth, reading, writing, responding to the rear. Shall not happen again. This is no excuse for not being able to write one post every other day. How do I plan to get better if I do not do what I am bad at. Practice maketh the man perfect but it is the manners that maketh the man in the first place. If I do not mannerize myself to write, when would I write bad and if I do not write bad, when would I get better and finally, if I do not get better, who will read me? Continue reading

Fear, Outcomes & Realizations

Last night was a heavy night. I found myself in a place where I hadn’t been from a very long time. I was moving away from it because I have always believed that life is in movement. But even when I was always moving away from it, my past hadn’t moved much. It clung to me like a weed, sucking its life from my every breath. Paying attention to it was bad, even thinking about it was bad. My past appears to me like a hot oven, one touch and I draw my hand back from it. I have been hopelessly trying to protect myself from my past. Fear of getting face to face with it stopped my energy to move ahead. Fear is nothing but a shrinking. When I am happy, I expand and engulf everybody in my happiness. When I am afraid, I shrink, I hide in my own shell. I shrink in everyway – in love, in relationships, in every way. I am afraid to go out, I become a turtle. Continue reading

Jumbled

Of all the shapes I see around me everyday, only circles and triangles seem to the truthful ones. Its because circles and triangles exist naturally everywhere.

I see the very first natural circles when I see myself in the mirror every morning, they are my eyes. They are circular, the pupils are circular, the iris is circular as well and as far as science knows, the retina is also circular, and not to forget people who generally choose circular glasses, I am sure circular glasses must be more helpful for vision than rectangular ones because circular glasses collect equal amount of rays coming from the circular sun and pass them on to the eyes. As a fact, Steve Jobs & Mahatma Gandhi wore circular glasses and both died much before their time, but both changed the world around them before their deaths. Continue reading
