Have you ever wondered about the design of time? Well, I have.
It exists as naturally as the constant vibration of the cosmos, and as artificially as the tick of the second hand of a wall clock. The passage of time reflects in everyday life as effortlessly as breathing. Time serves the same purpose to existence as oxygen serves to life on earth. None can survive without either. A thinking mind knows no limitations when it comes to imagination, so let us stop using logic for a little while and play the game of imagination. Continue reading →
How do you feel when people advise you?
There are three kinds of people in this world.
Firstly, there are those who hear the advising person uttering just one word. Bla.
Secondly, there are those who actually hear what the advising person is saying and feel that he is making a lot of sense.
Thirdly, there are those who hear an advice, ponder about it and finally make up their mind to change the stupid idiotic kind of lives they are living. Continue reading →
Have you ever thought about the concept of inheritance?
In a world where no one guarantees about the events of the next day, people love to inherit. A father’s property, a mother’s favour, a brother’s approval, a sister’s concern, people are eager to inherit all sorts of things and people are not ashamed to ask for it. An inheritance has to be a two-way process. There has to be a giver and there has to be a receiver. One cannot give without a receiver and one cannot receive without a giver. In such a case, where one of both is absent, it is not inheritance; it is felony, cheating, theft, robbery. Continue reading →
Of all the shapes I see around me everyday, only circles and triangles seem to the truthful ones. Its because circles and triangles exist naturally everywhere.
I see the very first natural circles when I see myself in the mirror every morning, they are my eyes. They are circular, the pupils are circular, the iris is circular as well and as far as science knows, the retina is also circular, and not to forget people who generally choose circular glasses, I am sure circular glasses must be more helpful for vision than rectangular ones because circular glasses collect equal amount of rays coming from the circular sun and pass them on to the eyes. As a fact, Steve Jobs & Mahatma Gandhi wore circular glasses and both died much before their time, but both changed the world around them before their deaths. Continue reading →
I am not in my senses at the moment. I haven’t slept for last two days because of a long list of reasons, I am feeling dizzy but this is the most sensible state I have ever attained. Its 5 in the morning, and I just said goodbye to my mom at the railway station. While we were at the platform waiting for her train to arrive, I heard two men talking. They were referring to an article they just read in a local Hindi newspaper. I guess it was about the exponentially increasing number of rape cases in Haryana. They then kept on adding issues like corruption, inflation, global warming and everything else that they were aware of. One of them started comparing the current situation to the situation when he was born, and concluded that the world is being degraded day by day and there is a dead-end ahead. Mayans were right, the world will end in 2012 or so. That stupid yet provoking conversation led me to a trans-state where I kept storming my mind to discover what I had known from ever but realized today. Continue reading →
A couple of hours ago, I had a very heated argument with someone, who is closest to me in terms of understanding me the way I am, about the idea of being alive and having independence to choose one’s death as well. The subject can be argued both emotionally and logically. If we can faithfully ponder over these four questions we can solve all the confusion which is created by the idea of dying, or to be put more precisely, the idea of choosing to die. What it means to live? What it means to die? What it means to die while we are still alive? What it means to live even after our death? Continue reading →
